The Restaurant of Miramare Hotel is located on the ground floor, next to the large and bright breakfast room (see photos in the photogallery page).
Both rooms, in a beach-front position, have large windows overlooking the park and the cove.
Dining hall is smaller, cozy and welcoming, adorned with yellow walls and tablecloths.
As the other hotel divisions, despite some inevitable and not insubstantial changes over the years, thanks to the family-run management the Restaurant had been preserving the atmosphere of the local belle époque.
The restaurant is open every evening during summer season (June to September), offering typical Tuscan cuisine, especially seafood.
All products are locally sourced and cooked to bring out the natural taste of the coast of Leghorn.
Serving both hotel guests and external customers, there isn't a fixed menu: it changes daily depending on fish caught and the Chef's inspiration, always aiming to value classic Tuscan flavors.
The Chef constantly offers different dishes to meet the demands of customers who are dining with friends, family or celebrating a special event.
The courses are based on fish, so they are generally fresh or frozen. Among the various proposals, some of the dishes offered by the Restaurant are: seafood risotto or spaghetti; penne with gilthead bream; Leghorn fresh fish soup (first courses). Mixed fried fish with shrimps, squid and fish; mixed grilled fish; mussel soup; marinated anchovies; mullet "à la Livornese" (main courses).
The menu is enriched with meat and vegetable courses, and the kitchen is ready to meet special requirements.
Even the desserts are constantly changing and are almost always prepared by the Chef daily: fruit tarts, tiramisù, mimosa cake, and many more.
The wine cellar offers a wide choice, both white and red or rosé, Tuscan and not only, in any price range.
The cost of dinner is € 27.00 for adults and € 15.00 for children (up to 12 years). The price covers appetizer or first course, main course with garnish and dessert. Drinks not included.
